Camp CoHoLo
director
Because of dedicated volunteers, Camp CoHoLo continues to have a great camp for children. Our “staff” includes our board of directors, doctors, nurses, camp director, a supporting cast of program directors, and great group counselors. CoHoLo has no paid staff.
Our group counselors are very important and without them there is no camp. Each counselor is paired with at least one other counselor, and they are assigned a group of children of the same age. The counselors share a cabin with their children, and make sure that they sleep, eat, and have fun. Even though it is tricky keeping everyone on schedule the entire day, a key part of the counselor's job is to make sure their cabin arrives on time for every activity and meal.
While counselors are responsible for supervising the children, they will also be immersed in the children's activities. We want our counselors to jump right in with the kids, get to know them, and have a blast with each child. Time to be a kid again!
If you are considering becoming a counselor at Camp CoHoLo please take the time to review the counselor job description. You will have a fun-filled four days, experiencing the highs of being at camp. The memories and relationships you will get will not be forgotten. Sign up today by clicking New Counselors; if returning, please click Returning counselors.
It is truly an amazing experience to work with these children!
