Home Campers Camp Life Volunteers Help Out Contact Us Photos

Dear Friend of Camp CoHoLo,

It’s time to start thinking about Camp CoHoLo 2011!   We are already busy planning a great week for our 27th camp.  The scheduled times for camp this year are:
Session I- Sunday, July 17 through Wednesday, July 20
(Campers ages 6-11 years old)
Session II- Wednesday, July 20 through Sunday, July 24
(Campers ages 12-17 years old).

Applications may be found on the camp website www.campcoholo.com on the 15th of February.  If you need to have a paper application mailed to you instead of doing it online please contact me and I will mail one out to you.  You will receive a confirmation notice, via e-mail or phone, by April 1st if your application is received.

The application deadline is March 31, 2011.

Due to insurance company requirements, we will continue the application process as follows:
1) Background checks will be conducted.
2) At the discretion of the Camp Director, Staffing Chairperson or the Board of Directors, personal interviews may be scheduled.
3) ALL Counselors MUST attend the mandatory training meeting to be held on Saturday, July 16th - the time will be sent out later.

To develop continuity in our staffing, we are looking for full-time counselors for each session. If you are unable to be a full-time volunteer and would like to help with special blocks please e-mail or call Cindy, the Camp Director at coholodirector@cox.net or (402) 689-3994.

We look forward to hearing from you. If you know of anyone who might be interested in participating at Camp CoHoLo and would be a good counselor, please direct them to our website.  If they need a paper copy of the application, please let me know.

Thank you,

Melissa Wilke
